The Local Government congresses of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP held across the 17 Local Government Areas of Enugu State on Tuesday have been described very peaceful, well organized and transparent by the Electoral Panel from the National Secretariat of the party. The PDP LGA congresses were conducted across the 17 LGAs of Enugu State to elect one National Delegate and nominate one Person Living with Disability PLWD ahead of the party primary elections.

The Enugu House of Assembly has promised to liaise with the state government to ensure that the Enugu State Broadcasting Service ESBS is upgraded to enable it to perform at its best. The Chairman, House Committee on Information and Communication, Geoffrey Mba, who made the promise today in Enugu said improving the service of the state-owned media outfit would enable it to disseminate policies and programmes of the state government effectively.
