The two opposition leaders separately reacted to ADELEKE’s re-election in posts on their X accounts yesterday, commending the people of Osun State and stressing the importance of the election to Nigeria’s democratic process.

ADELEKE made the allegation while speaking to newsmen shortly after casting his vote, claiming that some security personnel were being deployed to disrupt voting in parts of the state.

ADELEKE vowed that the people of Osun State would resist any attempt to subvert their mandate in the election.

OTTI stated that no individual governor has the authority to speak for the entire South-East or commit the region to any political stance ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
