The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC),  ATIKU ABUBAKAR has vowed to challenge  the ruling of the  Federal High Court which nullified the  leadership of the ADC led by former Senate President DAVID Mark, and his candidacy for the 2027 presidential election,

ATIKU’s position was contained in a statement issued by the Director of Strategic Communication of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, PHRANK SHAIBU, alleging that the judgement was an attempt to weaken opposition and undermine his ambition for presidency.

The former Vice-President also questioned the timing of the judgment which came a day after his campaign rally in Sokoto which was attended by a large crowd, stressing that the turnout reflected citizens’ desire for political change.

Recall that the Federal High Court early today dismissed the  leadership of the ADC and nullified the  party’s presidential ticket held by  ABUBAKAR.
