Super Eagles’ AFCON 2025 Group Opponent, Tunisia, Defeat Liberia 1-0 in World Cup Qualifier

Super Eagles AFCON 2025 group opponent, Tunisia defeated Liberia 1-0 away in their Group H, match for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Hazem Mastouri was the standout player for Tunisia, scoring in the fourth minute to secure all three points for his team.

With the win, Tunisia remains in first place with 13 points, Liberia sits third with 7 points, while Namibia are in second place on eight points alongside Malawi, Equatorial Guinea and Sao Tome and Principe occupying fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively.

Tunisia are in Group C alongside the Super Eagles, Uganda and Tanzania at this year’s AFCON in Morocco.
