Police Arrest Three Suspected Criminals in Ebonyi State.

The commissioner of Police in Ebonyi State CP, Aliyu Garba, has confirmed the arrest three suspected criminals who have been in the habit of robbing Point of Sale POS operators, innocent citizens of the state of their hard-earned money and properties.

Garba, made this known in a statement signed and made available to newsmen by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Chris Anyanwu, but the names of the suspected criminals are yet to be identified at news time.

The statement says the three-man syndicate who specializes in robbing shopping malls, supermarkets, POS Operators, and bank customers after withdrawing cash, within Abakaliki metropolis operate on a power bike, armed with pistols.

The commissioner said luck ran out on them when they robbed a fashion shop at No. 19 Udemezue St, Abakaliki at about 1300hrs on Tuesday and they were captured on a CCTV camera before they were nabbed by the Crack Team of Ebonyi State Police Command who acted on a tip-off.
