Agu who gave this charge during a Holy Mass to mark the activities lined for the celebration of the 2022 Okogwu Festival of Ihe-Nze Village, commended the leadership of the youths in the area for putting God first in their celebration; assuring that the Church would always support cultural values that are in consonance with Christian values as taught by Jesus Christ.

Also speaking on the importance of the Okpogwu Cultural Festival, the Chairman of Chairmen of Ihe Nze Village, Tobias Onyijiekwe explained that Okpogwu is an annual ancient cultural festival that has been celebrated for the past six years, adding that the festival starts with the general clearing and cleaning of the immediate and external environment by households and youths of Ihe-Nze.

Urban Radio Correspondent, Emeka Chibuoke who was at Ihe-Nze for the festival said the highlights of the cultural celebration included a quiz competition on the culture and origin of Nze and the Village, dancing and singing competitions amongst others.
