The International Committee of All Africa Music Awards AFRIMA says it has received a total of 9,076 entries submitted for consideration for the 2022 edition.

The 2022 entry sets a record for the highest entries since the award was created in 2014 to celebrate African music.

The record-breaking entries was received from creatives across all Five regions on the continent as well as Europe and North America.

The entries submission has lasted two months starting from Monday, May 30 and would run till Friday, August 30.
