The Ihe-Nze people of Ezi-Nze Autonomous Community in Ezedike ancient clan of Udi Local Government Area LGA have announced their Annual Cultural Festival called Ikpogwu, a cultural festival of cleaning and celebrating the environment where God put the people in.
In the announcement powered by Kingsley Ochinanwata, Ikpogwu a cultural festival that is as old as Akwutu the progenitor of NZE people would be celebrated on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th August 2022 as its being celebrated annually on every last weekend of August.
This year’s Ikpogwu Ihe-Nze Cultural Festival would feature Organisation’s meetings of Age grades, General Youth Association, General Assembly and women’s general meeting, cleaning of all the Ihe-Nze Environment and specially The Ikpogwu pathway.
It would also feature a Quiz competition on the history, culture, and traditions of Ihe-Nze people, The Ikwo Nwa competition by Igbo bu Agu Age Grade of Ihe-Nze, Cultural Dance competition by the male Youths of Ihe-Nze and Merriment and general entertainment.
This year’s festival is being organized and sponsored by Ihe-Nze Youth Association being led by Romanus Uzoaku Ugwu and The President General of Ezi-Nze Autonomous Community, Kelvin Jideofor Ochinanwata
