Presidential Candidate of Labor Party Explains Deal with Aggrieved PDP Governors

The presidential candidate of the Labor party, Peter Obi yesterday defined the deal he has with some aggrieved governors of the People’s Democratic Party PDP.

Obi while speaking in Makurdi during a visit to the Governor of Benue State Samuel Ortom said he and the PDP Governors have a common interest in finding a better Nigeria amid increasing security threats and a humanitarian crisis.

The former Governor of Anambra State praised Ortom for confronting insecurity challenges in Benue state at personal risk and comfort, while Ortom, on his part, advised Obi to negotiate power with other leading presidential candidates with a commitment to serve the people.

Some of the aggrieved PDP governors include Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Okezie Ikepeazu of Abia state, and Ortom.
