Ogun State Governor to Build Anthony Joshua Indoor Boxing Ring.

The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun has announced plans by his administration to construct a brand new Anthony Joshua Indoor Boxing Ring in the state.

Abiodun, who made the announcement yesterday when he hosted the two-time world heavyweight boxing champion in his office, officially confirmed Joshua as the state’s Sports brand ambassador, while also revealing that the Anthony Joshua Indoor Boxing Ring will be constructed in the state’s stadium, urging the champion to return to the state in May 2025 to light the torch in the forthcoming Gateway Games National Sports Festival.

The governor expressed that the state is immensely proud of Joshua’s global accomplishments, assuring that his administration would provide full support for his career in every possible way.

In his remarks, Joshua promised to help promote Ogun State to the global stage by showcasing the numerous talents in the state.
