The Deputy Inspector general of police in charge of South-East Geo-political zone, Ogbonnaya Amadi, has charged officers and men of the Enugu state police command to remain resolute in the fight against all forms of criminalities in the state.

Amadi, who stated this yesterday during an official visit at the state police headquarters, restated the force’s resolve in tackling insecurity in the south east zone, while also highlighting the purpose of his visit.

On the strategies put in place to raid the zone of unscrupulous elements, the Deputy Inspector general of police refused to divulge such information but assured that the police would apply more vigour in tackling the heighten insecurity challenges bedevilling the zone.

Meanwhile, the commissioner of police in state, Abubakar Lawal, in his speech, noted that the Dig’s visit was timely and commendable and further listed some of the challenges faced by the command.
