North Korea has Launched an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile.

Japan’s defence ministry says North Korea has launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) with sufficient range to hit the US mainland.

The missile landed in the sea roughly 210km west of Hokkaido.

As a result, South Korea’s President ,Yoon Suk-Yeol called for stronger deterrence measures against the North.

Recall that North Korean finance minister, Choe Son Hui, had warned of a “fiercer” response to any increased US military presence.
