Nigeria male handball age group grade teams participating at the IHF Trophy Tournament for Africa Zone 3 continued their superlative performance on day 2 of the competition with a 79 – 15 destruction of Liberia in Abidjan, Ivory Coast yesterday.

The under-18 national Male team was particularly fantastic on the day as Coach Emeka Nnamani tutored the side, and recorded an emphatic victory which is so far the highest in the championship.

The under-20 team led by Coach Fidelis Obi calmly found a way to defeat a resilient Niger Republic 28-22.

The teams will also play today with Nigeria’s Under 18 side playing against Benin Republic while the under 20 side will play against Ghana.
