NDLEA ARREST NIGERIAN BILLIONAIRE OVER ALLEGED DRUG DEAL WITH ABBA KYARI

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has announced the arrest of a Nigerian billionaire drug baron, Afam Mallinson Emmanuel Ukatu.


In a statement issued by Ndlea Media Director, Femi Babafemi, He said Ukatu who is the Chairman of Mallinson Group, is behind the N3 billion Tramadol deal involving the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, led Intelligence Response Team, IRT, Abba Kyari.


The Ndlea Media Director stated that Ukatu who was arrested at the MM2 terminal of the Lagos airport in Ikeja after months of surveillance and evading arrest, has been a major importer of large consignments of different brands and high dosages of Tramadol Hydrochloride.


Babafemi noted that Ukatu owns pharmaceutical and plastic manufacturing companies, which he allegedly used as a cover to import illicit drugs into Nigeria.
