Minister Uche Nnaji Highlights Tinubu’s Vision for Nigeria, Criticizes Enugu’s 2025 Budget as Unrealistic

The Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji has assured Nigerians that President Bola Tinubu is focused and determined to better the fortunes of the country.

Nnaji, who stated this in his country home, Akpugo, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu state during a get-together for the chieftains of the All Progressives Congress in the state, described President Tinubu as a leader, who is trying to rejig the country and rebuild what had been ruined, while at the same time steering Nigeria towards a brighter future.

While describing the state’s 2025 budget of 971.84 billion Naira as unrealistic, the minister alleged that the intention is to take more loans and enslave the state and further expressed the party’s readiness to take over the state come 2027.

Similarly, the State Chairman of the party, Ugochukwu Agballah lauded some stakeholders in the party for their efforts in driving the party forward, adding  that through the president’s leadership and the minister’s expertise, Nigeria is poised for significant progress in innovation, science, and technology, which will ultimately enhance the lives of the citizens.

Meanwhile, the party’s Deputy Governorship candidate in the last election, George Ogara and a stakeholder of the party, Ekenechukwu Ozobu, expressed satisfaction with the Minister’s style of leadership, saying his kind gesture has showcased unity and appreciation within the party.

Those present at the event included, the APC National Deputy Chairman, Emma Enukwu, Pro-Chancellor, Federal University of Agriculture Umudike, Abia State, Fidelis Edeh, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, Anthony Nebo, Federal Commissioner, Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Ozo Obodougo, APC State Legal Adviser, among others.
