Ligue 1 Celebrates Super Eagles Striker Moffi for Scoring Nine Goals This Season.

Organizer of the French topflight, Ligue 1, has celebrated Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi, after he netted his ninth goal of the season at the weekend against Paris Saint-Germain, PSG.

Moffi cancelled out Neymar’s opener for PSG as he drew Lorient level on 53 minutes with a superb strike, making it his third goal in his last four games for his French outfit.

Moffi left Nigeria to join the Buckswood Football Academy at the age of 17, and thereafter moved to Lithuania for Kauno Žalgiris before eventually joining Riteriai where he scored 20 goals in 29 leagues games and was transferred to Belgian club, Kortrijk in January 2020, but in October 2020, he signed with Lorient in the French Ligue 1.

The 23-year-old has made eighth appearances for the Super Eagles and has scored three goals.
