Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-RufaI, has condemned the lynching of two herders by mob in Birni Gwari LGA of the state.

Recall that two herders suspected to be informants to bandits were lynched by mobs in Birnin Gwari LGA.

In a statement issued yesterday, Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State, Samuel Aruwan said the governor, while condemning the mob action, cautioned residents to be law-abiding and stop actions that may lead to violence and total breakdown of law and order.

He pointed out that the only way to express grievances and criminal-related issues is to report to law enforcement agents for immediate action, appealing to families of the victims to remain calm while also directing security agencies to conduct thorough investigations towards fishing out the perpetrators.
