EBONYI STATE GOVERNMENT PROVIDESOPERATIONAL VEHICLES TO POLICEAND ARMY.

The Government of Ebonyi State has distributed 10 Hilux to the Nigeria Army and the Nigeria Police for joint security operations across the state.

The Governor of the State FRANCIS NWIFURU who was represented by his deputy governor PATRICIA OBILA who performed the distribution of the vehicles yesterday in Abakaliki said the aim was to engineeraccelerate operations of joint security outfits in the state, following the insecurity challenges facing the state.

The joint security outfit was Christened IJEOMA, meaning a safe journey. 

The Commander NKWAGU Military Cantonment Lieutenant Colonel A A BAKOlauded the state government for the donationwhile the Commissioner of Police in the StateAUGUSTINA OGBODO, applauded the state government for the gesture.
