BURNA BOY TEASES 7TH ALBUM WITH NEW SINGLE ‘BIG 7’

The scope of Burna Boy’s accomplishments is unfathomably large. He has not only lived up to but well above all expectations as an Afrobeats (Afro-fusion) performer, helping to enhance the genre’s praise and recognition on a global scale.

Burna Boy has adopted the position of a true pop star, fulfilling the ideal that most musicians strive for by moving from performing in arenas to ruling stadiums. In fact, it appears that his adventure has only begun, and even higher heights are yet in store for him.

Burna Boy surprised us with his magnificent sixth studio album, Love Damini, only last year. It gave birth to a number of top-charting singles, including Last Last, For My Hand with Ed Sheeran, and It’s Plenty. He performs live, sometimes in stadiums and arenas, leaving audiences in awe and appreciation.

In preparation of his upcoming seventh studio album, Burna Boy is now positioned to move up another level and ready to establish yet another standard for successful Afrobeats musicians. He gave us the previously released track Sittin’ on Top of the World and an alluring remix with the talented 21 Savage as a tantalising teaser of the highly anticipated seventh studio album titled I Told Them. He then gave us the brand-new Big 7 as a present.

Burna Boy’s live performance of the song Big 7 probably captivated you if you had the pleasure of following his tour. Fans have been clamouring for the song’s official release for a long time. There’s been a real sense of expectancy, and now, the long-awaited moment has arrived as Big 7 finally graces our ears.

After the release of Sittin’ on Top of The World and its 21 Savage remix in 2023, Burna Boy’s third offering as a lead artist, Big 7, is sure to have a huge effect and further establish his status as a major force in the world.

Not content with that, Big 7 is accompanied with a suitable and artistically stunning music video, giving the creative masterpiece still another layer.

Burna Boy is presently working on his seventh studio album, which will likely be released soon and is expected to reflect both his infinite innovation as an artist overall and the momentum he has already gained.
