Kizz Daniel’s mega-hit song featuring Tekno, Buga has emerged as the most searched song on Google in Nigeria in 2022 after enjoying massive commercial success.

Buga which was performed at the ongoing Fifa World Cup in Qatar is one of the biggest songs out of Africa in 2022 as it cross borders and captivated listeners across multiple countries.

It leads other hit singles that have soundtracked the year including Mavin’s Overdose, Asake’s Terminator, Rema’s Calm Down, and Carter Efe’s Machala.

Similarly, Afrobeats star Oxlade emerged as the most Googled artist in Nigeria in 2022 after he enjoyed a great year with his hit single Kulosa achieving impressive success across Europe and America after being propelled by Tik Tok.
