VERYDARKMAN CLASHES WITH POLICE OVER KIDNAPPING ALLEGATIONS

Social media activist MARTINS OTSE , popularly known as VERYDARKMAN, has challenged the Nigeria Police Force to charge him to court over his allegations that some security personnel facilitate kidnapping and banditry in the country.

VERYDARKMAN spoke while responding to a police invitation asking him to provide evidence for his claim that officers at checkpoints allegedly identify affluent travellers and relay their details to kidnappers.

The activist said he would honour the invitation but refused to hand over his evidence to the Police, maintaining that he would present it before a court.

The Police had described the allegation as serious, unsubstantiated and capable of tarnishing the reputation of the Force, however, VERYDARKMAN stood by his claims, saying his lawyers were ready to defend him.
