Akindele’s Latest Film Breaks Record With 1.88 Billion Naira Gross In Nigerian Box Office.

Funke Akindele’s latest blockbuster film, titled, Everybody Loves Jenifa has set a new record with an impressive 1.88 billion Naira earnings at the Nigerian box office.

The film, carrying on the legacy of the popular Jenifa franchise, dominated the box office for seven straight weekends, holding the Number one position and emerging as one of the highest-grossing Nollywood films of all time.

This achievement further cements Akindele’s reputation as Nollywood’s most bankable filmmaker.

Released on December 13, 2024, Everybody Loves Jenifa follows the record-breaking success of her previous films such as, Battle on Buka Street and Omo Ghetto: The Saga.
