Yobe declares Monday and Tuesday public holidays in honor of Buhari’s visit

The Governor of Yobe state, Mai Mala Buni has declared today and tomorrow as public holiday to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari to the state.

In a statement signed by the State Head of Service, Garba Bilal, in Damaturu, revealed that the public holiday would allow civil servants and the public to welcome president Buhari who will be in the state on a one-day State Visit to commission projects.

The projects include; Cargo Airport, Ultra-Modern Market and Maternal and Child Health Care Complex.

Bilal, however, said civil servants would resume work on Wednesday.
