The Enugu state Primary Health Care Development Agency ESPHCDA has commended the public and other partners for a successful 2022.
In a press release, the Executive Secretary of the Agency, George Ugwu, applauded the governor of Enugu state Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi whose administration gave the Agency the conducive platform to operate and for the release of more than six hundred thousand Naira, for the reconstruction of other Primary Health Care Centers in all the political wards in Enugu state.
Ugwu said the state government established modern Type 3 Primary Health Care Centers in the three senatorial Zones in the area including Nara in Nkanu East, Umumba Ndiagu in Ezeagu, Orba in Udenu, and Ibeagwa Aka in Igbo Eze South, among others.
Highlighting some of the achievements of the agency, he further revealed that the Agency in 2022 trained and deployed over eighty midwives to other Health Care Centers across all the local government areas in Enugu state and also conducted Life-Saving Skills Training for Ad-hoc and serving Midwives under the Basic Health Care Provision Fund.
