Kemi Lala Akindoju Joins Amazon Studios Originals Development Team.

Amazon Studios has unveiled Nollywood actress turn producer, Kemi Lala Akindoju as one of its four-member local originals development team.

Akindoju joined the team set to work alongside Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, as the Senior Movies Creative Executive.

Other confirmed executives included M-Net’s former Head of Local Productions and Independent Films Kaye Ann Williams, Brendan Gabriel, and Mike-Steve Adeleye.

Amazon’s latest announcement follows its August’s local slate reveal after they officially launched Prime Video Naija giving subscribers in Nigeria access to over 10,000 titles including a forthcoming slate of films, and scripted and unscripted content.
