The Governor of Enugu State Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi yesterday inaugurated the committee on harmonization of the state secondary education board law with the federal secondary education board law.
Ugwuanyi who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government SSG, Professor Uchenna Simon Ortuanya, during the ceremony at the state house, stressed the need for the development of secondary education in the state and harmonization of laws on the country, urging members of the committee to be the representation that would bring about positive impact.
Ezeh in his speech on behalf of the members’ laud governor Ugwuanyi for availing them the opportunity to serve in line with the national senior secondary education commission act.
He also promised that they would be dedicated to work hard effectively and efficiently to ensure there is an improvement in the educational sector in the state
Urban Radio Correspondent Ifeyinwa Ogbue who was present at the event says the inaugurated committee members were the commissioner for education Professor Uchenna Ezeh as the chairman of the committee, while other members included Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Enugu State, Milletus Ezeh, Chairman Nigeria Labor Congress Virginus Nwobodo, Chairman Nigerian Union of Teachers represented by Silvernus Egbo, Chairman Post Primary School
