XABI ALONSO EMERGES AS LEADING CANDIDATE FOR CHELSEA MANAGERIAL JOB

Former Spain midfielder, XABI ALONSO has reportedly emerged as the leading candidate to become the new manager of Chelsea FC..

Chelsea are said to be keen on appointing a new manager before the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, following the departure of LiamROSENIOR.

Reports say the club has already made contact with Alonso, who is currently without a job after leaving Real Madrid.

Other managers said to be under consideration include MARCO SILVA of Fulham FC and ANDONI IRAOLA, who is expected to leave AFC Bournemouth.
