TIWA SAVAGE NAMES THREE ARTISTS WHO INSPIRE HER MUSICALLY.

Nigerian Afrobeats star, Tiwa Savage has said that Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy are among the artistes who inspire her musically.

In an interview, Tiwa explained that her inspiration comes from a wide range of sources, including her colleagues, as well as American singer, Brandy and jazz music, noting that she ultimately looks up to God.

Her remarks follow her earlier criticism of the “Big 3” tag commonly used for Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy as Nigeria’s leading global music figures. 

At the time, Tiwa had argued that the label sidelines prominent female Afrobeats artistes and questioned the reason for excluding names like Tems when discussing top-tier artistes.
