TEMILADE OPENIYI aka TEMS Stirs Controversy with Outfit at the Oscars 2023

Nigerian award-winning singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems yesterday suffered heavy criticism over her outfit at the OSCARS.

Tems who lost her category at the Oscars for the Best Original Song after she was nominated for her contribution as a songwriter on “Lift Me Up” one of the songs on Marvel’s ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever at the 95th edition of Academy Awards wore a puffy white gown that wrapped around the back of her head but the elaborate outfit obstructed the views of some attendees.

Some persons took to social media to slam her for her view-blocking outfit while others, commended her for the outfit, saying she stole the show.

She lost the Oscar for Best Original Song to Naatu Naatu from RRR, which is composed by Mm Keeravani, with lyrics by Chandrabose and vocals by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava.
