SUPER EAGLES RETAIN 26TH POSITION IN LATEST FIFA RANKINGS

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have maintained their 26th position in the latest men’s rankings released by FIFA on Wednesday.

The ranking reflects matches played during the March international window, in which the team, under head coach ÉRIC CHELLE, recorded a 2-1 victory over Iran national football team and a 2-2 draw against Jordan national football team.

The three-time African champions remain the third-highest ranked team on the continent, behind Morocco national football team, which is ranked 8th globally, and Senegal national football team, placed 14th, while Algeria national football team and Egypt national football team complete the top five teams in Africa.

At the global level, France national football team moved to the top of the rankings, displacing Spain national football team.
