RHGM SOUTHEAST ENDORSES GOVERNOR MBAH’S DEVELOPMENT AGENDA

The Renewed Hope Grassroots Movement (RHGM), Southeast Zone, under the leadership of the National Zonal Coordinator, ELVIS CHIJIUBA ANIEBO, has thrown its weight behind the governor of Enugu state, PETER MBAH, insisting that his administration has demonstrated a clear commitment to rebuilding Enugu through massive infrastructure renewal, economic expansion, improved public services, and strategic reforms aimed at repositioning the State for sustainable growth.

The group, in a statement signed by its National Zonal Coordinator, Southeast Zone, ELVIS ANIEBO, State Coordinator, Enugu State Chapter, UDOAGHA ANI, and National Coordinator, ISAAC UDEH, said the historic decision to support MBAH’S re-election is a product of careful assessment, wide consultations, and objective evaluation of the remarkable transformation taking place across Enugu State under the purposeful leadership of Governor PETER MBAH.

It stated that the administration’s focus on security of lives and properties, road infrastructure, urban renewal, transport modernization, healthcare expansion, education development, water restoration, agriculture, and investment promotion reflects a government determined to move Enugu State to a new level of prosperity and sustainable growth, adding that since  assuming office on 29 May 2023, PETER MBAH’s administration has pursued an ambitious development agenda that is impacting lives across the 260 political wards of the State, thereby  demonstrating  that governance is about measurable results, bold reforms, and sustainable development rather than mere political rhetoric.

The group cited  the landmark achievements of the Mbah administration, including; combating insecurity with robust digital infrastructure and gateway, the establishment of Enugu Air, the development of modern bus terminals and extensive urban road networks, the 260 Smart Green Schools and 260 Type II Primary Healthcare Centres schemes across all Wards of the State, the development of the New Enugu Smart City, the reconstruction of the International Conference Centre, and the revitalization of the iconic Presidential Hotel, all a testament that the State, under Mbah’s watch, is the fastest-improving state in Nigeria, a feat recognized in 2026 Phillips Consulting State Performance Index (pSPI),.
