PSG DEFEAT BAYERN 5–4 IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SEMI-FINAL FIRST LEG

Paris Saint-Germain, PSG last night secured a dramatic 5–4 victory over Bayern Munich in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final clash.

Bayern struck first, with HARRY KANEconverting from the penalty spot to give the visitors an early lead but PSG responded quickly as KHVICHA KVARATSKHELIAequalized before JOÃO NEVES headed the hosts in front. 

Bayern believed they had restored parity through MICHAEL OLISE, but PSG were instead awarded a penalty, which OUSMANE DEMBÉLÉ calmly converted to extend their lead before halftime.

After the break, PSG increased their advantage with further goals from KVARATSKHELIAand DEMBÉLÉ, putting them firmly in control, while Bayern mounted a late comeback, with DAYOT UPAMECANO and LUIS DÍAZfinding the net to keep the tie alive.
