PRESIDENT TINUBU WINS APC PRESIDENTIAL TICKET 

President BOLA TINUBU has emerged as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general election after recording a sweeping victory in the party’s nationwide primary election.

TINUBU secured 10.99 million votes to defeat his only challenger, STANLEY OSIFO, who polled 16,504 votes in the direct primaries conducted across 8,809 wards nationwide.

The APC presidential primary results were presented by governors from 31 states, alongside party leaders serving as coordinators and collation officers in their respective states, to the Presidential Primary Election Committee chaired by former Senate President PIUS ANYIM.

The outcome officially confirms TINUBU as the APC’s flag bearer for the 2027 presidential election as the ruling party intensifies preparations for the next general polls.
