PRESIDENT TINUBU SET TO TRAVEL TO CHINA TO PERFECT RAIL CONTRACT.

The Special Adviser to President BOLA TINUBU, on Media and Publicity, AJURI NGELALE, says plans are being perfected for his principal to travel to China in the first week of September 2024.

NGELALE, said the trip will afford the president an opportunity to meet with the Chinese President, XI JINPING, during which bilateral matters will be discussed.

President TINUBU is also expected to meet with the management of China’s construction giants, the Chinese Rail Construction Company, CRCC with a view to concluding contract terms for the Ibadan to Abuja rail project.

NGELALE pointed out that the trip will attract other foreign direct investment to Nigeria, especially in the areas of agriculture, power, commerce and communications, as several memoranda of understanding MOUs will be signed.
