PRESIDENT TINUBU MOURNS VICTIMS OF FIRE INCIDENT AT ZAMFARA SCHOOL

President BOLA TINUBU has mourned the death of  at least 17 children, who lost their lives during the fire outbreak at an Islamiya school in Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State, on Tuesday night.

The president, in a statement signed by his media aide, BAYO ONANUGA sent his heartfelt condolences to parents, guardians, and families who lost loved ones in a fire outbreak, and also  commiserated with the state government and owners of the school, while praying for the quick recovery of over 16 other injured students, who are receiving medical attention.

The President further enjoined all public and private schools to prioritize children’s safety and security at all times, directing regulatory authorities in the education sector to ensure compliance with safety standards.

 He prayed that God Almighty would grant eternal rest to the souls of the departed and comfort to their loved ones.
