President BOLA TINUBU, yesterday held a closed-door meeting with key stakeholders from Plateau State, led by Governor CALEB MUTFWANG, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The delegation arrived at the Villa around 1:00 p.m. ahead of the scheduled 2:00 p.m. meeting, which lasted several hours.

While the details of the discussions were not disclosed, the meeting is believed to be a continuation of consultations following the President’s recent visit to Plateau State after a deadly attack in Jos.

The talks come weeks after the March 29 shooting in Angwan Rukuba, where gunmen opened fire at a crowded junction, killing at least 28 people, including students and staff, and injuring many others.
