President BOLA TINUBU has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to modern infrastructure development and improved living standards for Nigerians as he flagged off two major road projects: the two service carriageways of the Southern Parkway in Gaduwa District and Collector Road CO1 in the Institution and Research District of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

President TINUBU, represented by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor NENTAWE YILWATDA, described the projects as a vital part of the administration’s ongoing infrastructure drive and a practical expression of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He stated that while the main carriageway, now known as Bola Ahmed Tinubu Way, had already been completed and commissioned by the administration, the construction of the service carriageways would fulfil the original vision of the road network and considerably reduce the daily traffic congestion experienced by residents of Durumi, Gudu, Gaduwa and neighbouring communities.

President TINUBU further stressed that the project is part of a wider infrastructure renewal programme that has delivered major transportation projects across the FCT.

Speaking at the event, FCT Minister, NYESOM WIKE, commended the President, maintaining that the current administration remains focused on completing key projects aimed at transforming the nation’s capital.
