NIGERIA MUSIC STARS GAIN RECOGNITION AT THE 2026 AFRICAN MUZIK MAGAZINE AWARDS

Nigerian music stars made their mark at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards, with DAVIDO, TEMS , PHYNO, RUGER and MERCY CHINWO among the Nigerian artistes recognised at the ceremony.

The awards recognised artistes and entertainers from Africa and the diaspora across 41 categories.

DAVIDO secured the Album of the Year award , while TEMS was named Best Female West Africa and RUGER  Best Male West Africa.

PHYNO also  received the Best Male Rap Act award, while gospel singer MERCY CHINWO was honoured as Best Gospel artiste.
