LIVERPOOL THRASH SPURS 4-0 TO REACH CARABAO CUP FINAL

Liverpool have thrashed Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 to reach the final of the Carabao Cup.

The Reds went into the semi-final second leg needing to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg as goals from CODY GAKPO, MOHAMED SALAH, DOMINIK SZOBOSZLAI and VIRGIL VAN DIJKsecured the dominant win.

GAKPO opened the scoring in the 34th minute while SALAH doubled the lead on 51 minutes from the penalty spot, and with 15 minutes left, SZOBOSZLAI got the third goal before VAN DIJK completed the rout in the 80th minute.

ARNE SLOT’S men will now face Newcastle United in the final.
