KIDNAPPED CATHOLIC PRIEST REGAINS FREEDOM IN EBONYI STATE.

A Catholic priest Joseph Azubuike who was kidnapped in Ebonyi State has been freed.

A spokesman for the state police command said Azubuike who regained freedom at about 6 pm yesterday was rescued unhurt, hal,e, and hearty as a result of the concerted efforts of the Operatives of the Command.

The cleric and three other persons in Ebonyi State were kidnapped by Gunmen.

Azubuike was abducted on Monday in ISU, Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State close to his residence in the area, while he was returning from pastoral duties.
