FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO IMPLEMENT 300 PERCENT SALARY INCREASE FOR JUDICIARY.

The Attorney General and Minister of Justice, LATEEF FAGBEMI has revealed that the Federal Government has commenced the implementation of the 300 percent pay rise for judicial officers. 

FAGBEMI, who stated this yesterday at a Convocation ceremony in Ekiti State, described the move as an important first step in the President BOLA TINUBU administrations resolve to strengthen the judiciary.

He also added that the Federal Government will be embarking on a holistic review of Nigeria’s laws to respond to the daily needs of the country.

Recall that the president had in August signed into law, a bill seeking a 300 percent increase in salaries and allowances for judicial officials.
