FEDERAL GOVERNMENT LIFTS BAN ON ARIK AIR OPERATIONS

The Federal Government has lifted the suspension on the operations of Arik Air, barely a week after the airline was grounded. 

The Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), MICHAEL ACHIMUGU, disclosed this in a statement on X, saying that the dispute between Atlas Petroleum and Arik Air which necessitated the grounding of the airlines operations has been resolved.

 He added that Arik Air passengers can now check-in for scheduled flights, while also reiterating the Minister and the NCAA’s commitment towards  ensuring safe and secure air travel for all passengers.
