The Federal Government has introduced an annual 365 million Naira prize to reward students and researchers for outstanding academic work, research and innovation in tertiary institutions across the country.
The programme also includes a 30 million Naira prize for Medicine and Medical Innovation, named after the late Nigerian doctor, STELLA ADADEVOH , who helped stop the spread of the 2014 Ebola outbreak in Nigeria.
The Tertiary Institutions National Laureate Prize will recognise outstanding research projects by undergraduates, Master’s students and PhD candidates, especially studies that can contribute to development, industry or create useful products and services.
