FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AWARDS 13 POLICE TRAINING REHABILITATION CONTRACT

The contract for the rehabilitation of 13 police training institutions which is set to last for a period of three weeks across the country has officially been awarded by the Federal Government of Nigeria, aimed at putting the institutions in shape for the commencement of training programmes by the Nigerian Police Force.

In a statement, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications, Office of the Vice President, STANLEY NKWOCHA said the initiative was presented during the 160th meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC), chaired by Vice President, KASHIM     SHETTIMA  in Abuja.

Subsequently, NEC also endorsed the Revised National Social Protection Policy  presented by the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, ABUBAKAR BAGUDU, a  policy aimed at  strengthening social protection coordination, financing, implementation, monitoring and accountability across the federation.
