ENUGU STATE GOVERNMENT ARRESTS GUNMEN DISTURBING THE PEACE OF THE STATE.

The secretary to the State Government in Enugu State SSG Professor Chidiebere Onyia says the state has arrested various suspected unknown gunmen that are ravaging and attacking the state.

Onyia who was featured as a guest yesterday on the Urban Radio Flagship program The Parliament explained why the state government made the decision to ban the sit-at-home order and further highlighted the significance of the Distress Rapid Squad D.R.S launched in the state.

He commended the Nigerian Union of road transport workers for serving as a means of encouragement to the people towards partaking in activities on sit at homes days and further highlighted plans the state has put in place to help ease transportation for the people on sit-at-home days. 

Elder from Enugu State, who called in during the program applauded the governor of the state Peter Mbah for making necessary provisions to protect the people and further pleaded that the powerful state actors plead for the release of Nnamdi Kanu so that peace can be reclaimed in the southeast.
