The All Progressive Congress (APC) Enugu state chapter has  denied allegations linking its leaders and state administration to political violence in the Nkanu West Local Government Area of the State.

The party in a statement by its State Publicity Secretary UCHE OBUTE, described the allegation as false, misleading, and politically motivated urging the government and enforcement agencies to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident and bring the criminals involved to justice.

While calling for a transparent investigation and keeping the public informed, the party said it is committed to upholding the principles of democracy, justice and the rule of law.

APC leadership also rejected allegations linking Governor PETER MBAH to the alleged incident, arguing that his administration has always prioritized the safety of its citizens.

They further appealed to opposition parties to avoid misinformation and unsubstantiated accusations which have the tendency of undermining the value it upholds.
