Edo Queens have emerged champions of the 2025/26 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) season after securing a goalless draw against Bayelsa Queens in their final playoff match in Port Harcourt.
The Benin City-based side finished top of the playoff standings with 10 points from five matches, earning their second NWFL title.
Coached by MOSES ADUKU, Edo Queens maintained their lead at the summit despite being held by Bayelsa Queens, who ended the playoffs in second place with eight points.
Bayelsa Queens finished in second position with eight points, while Nasarawa Amazons also missed the opportunity to challenge for the title after playing out a 0-0 draw with Rivers Angels in their final fixture.
