National Universities Commission has given universities the nod to decide 30% of their curriculum content. Executive Secretary of NUC, Professor Abubakar Rasheed, stated this today at the presentation of licenses to 12 new private universities recently approved by the Federal Executive Council, FEC.

President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed to the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, to consider the plight of the students and end the lingering strike.
