A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, in Enugu State, Ben Collins Ndu has described the April 30, 2022, ad hoc delegates congress held in the state as credible and peaceful, after former Deputy President of the Senate Ike Ekweremadu, reportedlykicked against the list which emerged from the exercise.
The 9th Assembly has amended the Electoral Act 2022, to allow statutory delegates, all those elected to participate and vote in the conventions, congresses or meetings of political parties.
