Former Vice President, ATIKU ABUBAKARhas reiterated the commitment of the coalition he is putting together to adopt a strong platform to unseat President BOLA TINUBU in the 2027 election.

ATIKU, a founding member of the Peoples’Democratic Party,  made the declaration yesterday during a meeting with a delegation of National Opinion Leaders, which paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja.

Subsequently, the former Vice President took to his verified X handle to liken the coalition to a fast-moving train “with multiple stops to bring on board Nigerians of all shades,” in the quest for good governance.

He urged Nigerians to resist financial inducement by politicians, warning that those politicians only give them kobos here and there, and then abandon their future and their children’s future.”

ATIKU’S position is coming on the heels of the insistence by governors elected on the PDP platform that the party is not one to go out in search of intending merging partners.
